Project Brief: To produce a draft Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that will become the pilot BBC Academy MOOC. 

Multiplatform Producer, BBC Academy, July – December 2014 

• Used existing BBC Academy content to write a highly detailed  five week draft course structure. I decided to write it on something I love – storytelling.
• The University of Birmingham were very impressed with my proposed structure and agreed to be the academic partner.
• Digital Storytelling is part of Creative Skillset’s research into online creative courses. 
• Digital Storytelling moved from development into production in January 2015.

This is another development project I worked on with Chromatrope  (along with iTunes U and Choose your own BBC Career) that placed the Academy at the forefront of digital innovation ahead of its move to Birmingham.

Results 

Digital Storytelling will start in September 2015.
